Event Details

The Defense Technology Symposium (DTS) will highlight the advanced technology needs of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the correlating capabilities of the innovation ecosystem in North Carolina and the southeast.  The DTS will establish a dialogue and partnerships between industry, academia and government to address the future technology needs of America’s warfighters.

Breakout Sessions Focus, North Carolina – Frontline of the Future: This session highlights the infrastructure, strategic and operational programs and resources available to businesses and military to grow the innovation ecosystem in North Carolina – the Frontline of the Future.  Chairman Michael Cunningham and Colonel (Ret) Denny Lewis will showcase activities and resources of the Board of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Defense Technology Transition Office and the One North Carolina Small Business Program, including incentive and matching funds available to businesses pursuing and winning DoD SBIR/STTR awards for defense innovation.

Networking Social: A networking social for the Defense Technology Symposium and AUSA Warfighter Summit & Exposition attendees on July 26th at the Segra Stadium, home of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Tickets must be purchased in advance, on the event management system, by July 15, 2022
