We are very excited that the Festival D’Avion will be returning to the Moore County Airport on April 17-19, 2020.
The Festival D’Avion is a celebration of Freedom and Flight and honors the men and women that have served in the armed forces. The 1½ day event, hosted at the Moore County Airport, includes a celebration concert featuring the Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band, Runway 5K race/walk, special aircraft exhibits, scheduled aircraft fly-overs, Warbird displays, precision jump team exhibitions, programmed entertainment and a special scheduled fly-out of all participating aircraft. The five branches of the military have approved participation and will have represented aircraft and military equipment displays for the Festival D’Avion. Classic cars and trucks will also be displayed during the event. A variety of food and beverage options will be available from area and regional food trucks, craft beer breweries, North Carolina wineries and vendors. We will have a huge play area/Kids Zone in anticipation of all of the families that will be attending this year.

Special Sponsorships Available for DANC members!
As a member of the Defense Alliance of North Carolina, you can participate in this year’s Festival D’Avion in a very unique way. The Festival through a partnership of the USO North Carolina will be donating tickets to the families of recently deployed soldiers from Fort Bragg and to all Gold Star families in the area. We would identify your company as a sponsor of this contribution for a very reasonable sponsorship fee of $100 per sponsor. The sponsorship package will include a special sponsor host company listing that will be on event signage and on the media releases that are distributed in advance of the event. Sponsors will receive four (4) tickets to the Festival D’Avion including the Celebration Concert of Friday April 17th and the Festival on Saturday April 18th, 2 Invitations to the VIP Hangar Party on Friday evening and 2 VIP Parking Passes. Sponsors that would like to have a product/service display during the event can upgrade their sponsorship to $250 for a 10’ X 10’ Vendor Space (sponsor to provide own tenting) or $500 which will include the allocated space, 10’ X 10’ tent, table with linen and chairs.
