TUESDAY, APRIL 14
Focus on the Small Business Center Network of North Carolina. The Small Business Center Network (SBCN) of North Carolina is available to help businesses navigate challenges associated with COVID-19. Funded by the State of North Carolina, the Network’s services are provided fee-free to NC businesses. The seasoned and professional SBCN counselors can assist you with loan requests, business plans, general startup questions, marketing, sales, intake for federal contracting and much more. Following the SBCN briefing, the US Small Business Administration (and other agencies as needed) will provide an update to programs in place to assist with COVID-19 economic recovery.
Participating state and federal agencies include NCMBC, DEFTECH, SBA, NCPTAC, NCIES, NCDMVA, EDPNC and the NCCCC SBC Network.
Businesses may ask any questions regarding opportunities, processes to engage with federal agencies, contracting and technical issues and financing and other resources available to businesses in NC during the COVID-19 crisis.
THURSDAY, APRIL 16
Presented in partnership with the Defense Alliance of North Carolina, special guest US Senator Thom Tillis will discuss:
- COVID-19: Steps federal government has taken to assist/support small businesses, including contractors
- COVID-19: Steps federal government has taken to support all Americans – that benefit businesses
- Federal Contracting Environment: Sustaining business opportunity and meeting federal needs
Following the Senator Tillis’ remarks, the US Small Business Administration will provide an update to programs in place to assist with COVID-19 economic recovery. There will be an open session at the end for Q&A from businesses and other WEBCON participants to ask questions of Senator Tillis and participating agencies.
