This event will feature an impressive panel of speakers. The intent of this event is to help participants understand the many programs the Defense Alliance of North Carolina is engaged with or connected to that serve to advance the defense sector and strengthen North Carolina’s defense industry.

Maj. Gen. Robert C. Dickerson, US Marine Corps (Ret.) & DANC Exec. Board Chair

Bob will discuss the importance of his role as the current Executive Board Chair for the Defense Alliance of North Carolina and The Alliance’s primary goals as a defense industry trade association.

Senator Thom Tillis, Keynote Speaker

Senator Tills will provide an overview from his perspective as a member of the Armed Services Committee and a look ahead for the defense community.

Bill Herrold, Washington Office Group & DANC Council Chair

Bill will speak about the new face of DANC and how The Defense Alliance of North Carolina has kept things moving along despite a global pandemic. Additionally, he will address the importance of proper strategic alignment as things progress in the year ahead.

Will Lewis, (ACT) Allies for Cherry Point’s Tomorrow Board President/Mayor of Havelock

Will Lewis will discuss how ACT continues to advocate on behalf of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.

Mike McIntyre, Ward and Smith/Former U.S. Congressman

In his new role at Ward and Smith, Mike will provide his keen perspective on current government relations issues that may need to consider in the new year.
