The Defense Alliance of North Carolina (DANC) today announces a collaborative partnership with the Institute for Defense & Business (IDB). Both DANC and IDB play a critical role in providing information, connections and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote educational programs across the state of North Carolina.
This partnership comes following the March 2022 Quarterly Executive Board chaired by LtGen Brilakis, USMC (Ret). President of IDB, LtGen William “Mark” Faulkner, USMC (Ret) provided a brief to the board. Executive Director Tammy Everett and Mike Bogdahn, USMC Depot Deputy Commander (Ret), IDB Senior Client Relations Director drafted a PARNTER agreement that was vetted and approved enhancing the relationship between the North Carolina’s military, business and academic community.

The DANC Management Council incoming President, John Bellamy, Assistant Director, FSU Center for Defense and Homeland Security will assist the implementation efforts through a variety of actions.
